I went back to arcspace yesterday to have a better look around, I always go back or I go before when I go with friends. Just so I can explore at my own pace and take some pictures without worrying that they have walked off without me. [I even do this in RL if at all possible, it is a bit embarrassing when the tram drives off while you are trying to get that one more shot... hahaha
]

I’m so glad that I did. It just so happened that the artist, Bryn Oh, was there and I got to talk to her for a few minutes. It is fun talking to artists, I enjoy it both in RL and SL I wish I could do it as easily in SL as I can in RL, I guess as I explore and see more of the artist’s work it will come more freely.
Bryn asked me if I had found the hidden buttons and the secrets of the sculptures. I laughed and said no, I was just looking and not touching. She took me over to the Rabbicorn sculpture, which she said was her favorite and showed me the button in it’s nose, then at the end of the poem say [type] “Rabbicorn” and the base will open and you’ll see the end of the poem.
These are really amazing sculptures both in design and with the scripting that went into making them interactive and animated. Bryn is a really talented artist and I look forward to seeing more of her work across the grid… I’m thinking field trip (anyone want to come along?)
A big plus for me was that I got to give her one of my Toasters, it’s just a honor for me to give someone who’s work I enjoy, something that I made.

Rabbicorn and Robot Girl
I really like the Robot Girl sculpture, and the setting it is in, I don’t know if it’s the colors from my windlight settings but it gives me the feeling of a Di Chirico painting (Mystery and Melancholy of a Street to be specific).

I did, I did see a Torley.
I was out with the group last night at Arc Space checking out Bryn Oh’s take on Edward Gorey’s Gashleycrumb Tinies and her music boxes.
We were standing around talking and catching up when all of a sudden a bright glow appears and two people start moving around. I looked at the names on the radar going hmm those names look familiar, when he appeared in my camera and I went d’oh…. hahaha.
Torley Olmstead and Ravenelle Zugzwang were out and about last night, I had never seen Torley in person, I did go by his area when I first rezzed in SL so I had to get a few snaps off. I’m not a star struck fan
I think of it more like bird watching, a way to say yes I’ve seen that one

Went to some of the new AM Radio builds last night with some friends, I was kinda tired so I only took this one picture at the build in Princeton West. I’m actually floating above a bed so I shot from underneath me. I had been thinking of playing with some poseballs to turn me 90 degrees so I could get the biggest image of me that I can (length of the 17″ monitor).
I always get inspired when I go to AM’s build or any really well done build. It makes me want to go back to Nevi and start creating, I don’t know what, but just something
but then I get discouraged because I haven’t planned it out I just rushed in and then it just sits in my inventory collecting virtual dust until the day I finally empty the trash.
I do have a few projects, at least, that are past that initial stage of doubt. I have a diner that is built and I’m slowly texturing, a fun mixer, to go with my toaster and then a secret version of the Lyndzmatic Toast Launcher
[don’t know what I’m talking about? check my shops or stop by Liz’s shop Thistle and check it out.
I’ve decided to enter the Galley Beleza windlight photo competition, so I have been out visiting some of my favorite looking for photo opportunities. I hadn’t had much luck so I decided to try and get into a better mood so I got dressed for this escapade and pulled out a couple of cameras to carry around much like in RL.

Funny thing is… It really did help (though the pith helmet makes me laff
)
Went to Sculpty Earth yesterday with a bunch of friends. After looking around for awhile, seeing if we could find where we lived and waiting for the clouds to change we all made our way to the North Pole and well….
I think I like making these videos, I may not be any good at it right now but it’s fun and that’s what is important. So I guess I’m buying Snapz Pro as an early Christmas present for myself since the demo expires tomorrow.
Thanks Liz, Molly, Ice, Pern and Karin it was a fun time
